About the Role

* Independently analyze, design, and develop embedded operating systems for high-security controllers in an agile SCRUM environment
* Work with state-of-the-art microcontrollers, modern IDEs, and industry-leading development frameworks
* Work on security-critical software for authentication, cryptographic operations, and secure data handling
* Build and support applications and applets in the smartcard domain
* Collaborate with international leading technology partners to drive innovation in the embedded sector
* Use AI-supported tools for code assistance, refactoring, testing, and documentation

Your Profile

* Technical degree (University or University of Applied Sciences)
* Experience in smartcard software development
* Knowledge of standard and protocols such as JavaCard and GlobalPlatform
* Hands-on experience with IDE tools like Eclipse, Keil, and GlobalPlatform utilities
* Familiarity with version control systems e.g. Git or SVN is a plus
* Experience with AI-based tools for software development and debugging is an advantage
* Strong communication skills in English
